Harold D. Rider Family Media, Science, and Fine Arts Center selected as Award-Winner

Rider Family Media, Science, and Fine Arts Center at Elgin Academy was selected by Real Estate & Construction Review Magazine as a Green Building of America Award-winning project. Each Green Building of America project is highlighted in a case study published in Real Estate & Construction Review.

Architects from DLA Architects Ltd. began the design for the Rider Center at Elgin Academy in 1999. The earth-friendly design for the Rider Center is targeted to achieve a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification from the United States Green Building Council. IASB Award of Merit for Excellence in Educational Environmental Design awarded for Lincoln-Way North

The Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB) awarded DLA Architects, Ltd. (DLA) and Lincoln-Way Township High School District 210 the 2008 Award of Merit for Excellence in Educational Environmental Design. The prestigious award is for the design of the new Lincoln-Way North High School.
