Along with the cash to help them pay for school, we’re also inviting them to spend a day at our office this summer. Our staff will host a roundtable discussion; they’ll interact with professionals at different stages of their careers – from seasoned architects to those in the throes of the IDP (Intern Development Program) and ARE (Architectural Registration Exam) to college students on their summer break. It’ll be their chance to ask all the questions they’d like about a career in architecture, and more important, what to expect in college. The highlight of their day will, of course, be lunch, but we’re hoping that these students will also enjoy touring a project site or two.
